Advertising: It works?

It's funny how marketing and advertisement might seem unnecessary sometimes.
Like why put one line of text, a brand logo and a picture on 50+ signs across an expressway? Or a big hoarding board and just write one line of text?
On the other hand, that's why most businesses — sadly, in the wrong way — try to put so many details in one flyer. Because they see it as a one time opportunity that can't be wasted. Lol. We'll discuss that another time.
But sincerely, these marketing things work.
For instance, if I want to get a TV or home appliance now, my top option is Hisense.
You know why? I see them on 3rd Mainland Bridge every day I go to work, 3 days a week. 😅
There's no mind blowing copy or anything on their posts, but I can see it in my mind's eye as I write this. That's the power right there.
Repetitive seeing has an impact on the mind o!
Don't underestimate it — as a user and as a business owner.
I might not buy a TV this month or next, but on the day I do, Hisense would most definitely be my first option.
That's not accidental. That's just what something showing up consistently does to a person's brain without them even realizing it.
So if you're a business person and you need to put your money in advertising, put it. Don't hold back. Don't wait until it "makes sense." Just stay visible. The return might not be immediate, but it's coming.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Bye. 😅
