The Corporate Sisi
Editorial/Visual Design, Fun Project
2025

Project info
Brief
This was a spontaneous, creative challenge sparked by a viral tweet from @amazingklef on X. The tweet featured a series of stylish portraits with the caption:
"If you are the Editor-in-Chief of a magazine, which frame will you pick as cover for an issue titled THE CORPORATE SISI 💅?"
Inspired by the tweet, I decided to explore the concept and bring the idea to life through editorial design.
What the Client Wanted
No formal client—this was a self-initiated creative response to an open online prompt. The goal was to visualize what The Corporate Sisi could look like as a full magazine cover spread: playful, classy, bold, and distinctly Nigerian in style energy.

Approach
I designed a conceptual magazine cover and layout using one of the portraits from the tweet. The visual direction merged editorial flair with cultural satire—fusing elegance, fashion, and fun into a cover that felt both iconic and tongue-in-cheek. Typography, layout, and color choices were styled to reflect a confident, corporate-yet-feminine aesthetic.
