Pastey reminds me so much of my dad. If you’ve seen my dad, you’d understand immediately. But beyond the facial resemblance, it’s the way they both teach the Scriptures with such depth and passion. And in 'all' of my spiritual journey since I stepped into this adulthood thing, Pastey is the one whose voice reaches me differently.
Maybe it’s the nostalgia.🙃 Maybe it’s the echoes of my childhood. Or maybe it’s simply the grace God has placed on him. Whatever it is, being under Pastey just feels right.
Today is World PIE Day, and while Pastey will most likely never get to see this 😅, (let's not kid; he won't!😂) I still want to do my part and say: thank God for Apostle Emmanuel Iren.
Earlier this year, I faced some tough situations. I questioned my faith, questioned a lot of things—but God consistently reached me through Pastey’s sermons.
Last Sunday’s message, “Faith Is the Language of Revival,” was especially timely. It was exactly what I needed. It set my heart and mindset for the chaos the new week was about to bring.
